Parlier Vs Roosevelt

On November 15th 2022, the Parlier High School girls soccer team had their first home game of the season against Roosevelt High School. It was my first game ever taking photos so I was a little bit nervous, and didn’t really know what I was doing at first. I quickly got accustomed though and started to enjoy it. The mood itself was pretty serious, people yelling from both sides of the field to kick the ball, be rough, run faster, and so much more unsolicited advice.
During the first half of the game, Roosevelt scored on our team two times and later on in the second half, scored again. Though it’s saddening that our team lost, it’s still the beginning of the season for them. I know that they can keep going, and grow stronger as the season goes on. Especially given how strong the team is, one of our very own players got injured during the middle of the second quarter, and still got up and kept giving it her all.
At the end of the day, it’s just the beginning for them, and I know there’s more to come as the year progresses further. What a great first game for our girls!
