Evan is mainly known in the school for being on Track/Cross Country because of all the competitions he has won for the school. In his sophomore year he ran and won the Sequoia League Championship. Also in the beginning of his Junior year he won the Central Valley and Field Classic Track Meet, it was one of the biggest races in Fresno County and he won 1st place in the 2 mile with a time of  9:51 minutes.

Evan Torres’s main inspiration for running came from his brother who also did track and cross country. When he decided to tell his parents that he decided to join track and cross country they were very proud of him. Evan Torres favorite cross country moment was qualifying for state which means that he would be able to run the CIF State Cross Country Championships.
