Rally

The rally was on August 27, 2021, on a Friday. It was held on the football field at Parlier High School.

It was a very hot day. Everyone from the school was there, students and staff. There were activities for both students and the teachers. They had music going and they also introduced the football players at the end. They also had cheerleaders put on a show for us.

The first activity they had for us involved the teachers. They had Mr. Camargo and Ms. Gallagher volunteer. The rules were that you had three questions and if you answered correctly you didn’t have to eat a jelly bean and if you got the question wrong you would have to suffer the consequences and eat a jelly bean.

The second they had involved the students. It was a tug of war, seniors vs juniors and freshman vs sophomore. The juniors had won the seniors surprisingly. The freshman’s got destroyed by the sophomores. When it was time for the juniors vs the sophomore, the sophomores had won but they had more people so they had a rematch and the juniors ended up winning.

They then had the cheerleaders put on a show for us and dance to a song. They then introduced the football players to some loud music. They also had a competition to see what grades were the loudest. The seniors went first then the juniors then the sophomore then lastly the freshmen. The crowds weren’t very loud though.
