Student Spotlight Freddy

Before I start I would like to thank Freddy for letting me interview him. Freddy is currently a senior at Parlier high school who has played soccer since elementary school. Freddy says that he doesn’t regret starting the sport because at the end of the day he just wanted to have fun.

The first question I asked was how do you handle criticism? Freddy says, “any criticism is good criticism, i know they don’t mean anything bad about it.” He accepts the criticism he gets and works on it on the field. Freddy knows that he’s not the best at the sport but always tries to be the best.

When asked about what role soccer play in your family he says “it brings them together” Freddy says that his whole family likes soccer so it’s something that they can come together and do together without feeling left out. He knows that his family supports him and especially in something he’s passionate about.
