THE BOOK THAT YOU CAN’T MISS

The book Barely Missing Everything is about a boy named Juan. He played basketball and was pretty good. His goal was to get a scholarship hopefully and get out of El Paso, Texas. Juan also has a friend named JD and Danny. Juan’s friend JD plans to be a filmmaker. Juan’s mom Fabi was pregnant with him at the age of 16. Danny is just a friend of Juan that threw a party and the police got called and they tried running from them but things went bad. This is just a small description of the characters and what they are to Juan and what happened with some of them.

I would rate this book 3 of 5 stars because it was an alright book but I believe that it could have had more interesting things. But it was still a good ending to the book and I think it was a good book to read if you have some time to read it. I thought this book was like a show or a movie I had seen before;  It plays out very cinematically .

To support my ranking of the book in the book Juan just wants to get out of where he lives and just wants to do something big to make a name for himself. I just think it was a typical start to a book but it was more different than some books like the ending and that’s what I liked about how the ending was different from most of the books because they would have ended differently. I would recommend this book to people who like plot twists and how some people see the world differently and what they have to go through.
