Clovis High Footloose Production

On Thursday, February 27, 2025, Band Director Mr. Tanalion and Drama director Mr. Cardenas along with four students of Parlier High School attended a production of Footloose at Clovis High school. It was Clovis’s first ever production of this show and wanted to go all out. With originally produced food, merchandise, and advertisement. This theater program wanted to make it known the young great minds working to achieve the great show. While the four students who attended, including myself, had the opportunity to witness the magnificent teamwork put into the building of this show.

After a striking performance, the students and their chaperones were taken backstage get an insight into the building of this show. We were shown a warehouse sized space full of costumes and building materials used to make set props. And several of those props were mainly made of wood by the programs stage craft. High on a balcony area was the sound crew that was incredibly well connected with the stage manager. Theater and Drama director of Clovis, Sandra Hahn, made it extremely clear that it was mainly the students that put this show together whole she stood back. This was incredibly inspiring to us and showed that teamwork can bring on a great show.

We’d like to thank Sandra Hahn for the opportunity to witness a High-end theater production.
