Yesterday evening, our very own Parlier High had the privilege of welcoming a distinguished columnist who imparted a powerful message, encouraging students to embrace their aspirations and share their unique stories.
Ruben Navarrete, a prolific writer known for his numerous columns, articles, and essays in prominent magazines, achieved the remarkable feat of publishing a book at the young age of 25. Not only is Ruben an accomplished writer, but he is also a master storyteller, possessing the ability to captivate audiences with his compelling tales.
Despite a long journey, Ruben arrived at Parlier High School without even checking into his hotel, demonstrating his selfless dedication to inspiring and igniting a passion within the hearts and minds of aspiring writers and storytellers. From 5 to 8 PM, Parlier High School graciously hosted a meet and greet event, where students were treated to pizza and refreshments. They had the invaluable opportunity to take photos with Ruben and were promised that their burning questions would be answered by simply sending him an email.
