Student Spotlight Nancy Gayosso

Today I interviewed Nancy Gayosso who is a junior and the main captain of the girls varsity soccer team. She’s been on the girls varsity soccer team for three years and will continue to participate in her senior year. I would like to thank Nancy for giving me the opportunity to interview and thank her for taking the time to do so.
Since Nancy is a junior, she does have her own car and drives to school everyday. Every now and then she gives her friends a ride to school or from school. Being an uber for her can be stressful, especially in the morning because they might not arrive at school on time. Next year she will be a senior which will be her last year attending Parlier High School and will move on to college. She’s still keeping her options open and isn’t set on one specific college yet.
During her free time, Nancy is either napping or hanging out with her friends. Nancy’s favorite sport is soccer and she enjoys playing it. She has been playing it her entire life with a few clubs she has joined in the past few years. She will continue participating in soccer at the school and will see how far it would lead her.
Some advice Nancy would give to her fellow peers is to always focus on themselves. Do not let anyone or anything distract you from what you want to accomplish. Block out any negative people that you know will bring you down. Lastly, she would like her peers to keep their head up no matter how hard things get. Stay patient and everything will settle out on its own.
Again I would like to thank Nancy for giving me this opportunity to interview her and show other people what a kind friend Nancy Gayosso is.
