Parlier High School Men’s Volleyball Senior Night

On April 30 2024 we got to recognize the men’s volleyball team. This is the first year PHS has a men’s volleyball team. It was an emotional night for the seniors and the support of their families, by honoring them with a yellow rose.

While the seniors were being recognized they took their yellow flowers to their moms, dads, and siblings. Most also said they would like to thank god for these opportunities in such a small town. This shows us the support system that drives their academic success on and off the field.

But on this senior night, it was a bit different they didn’t go against another team but they went against each other. The first set was the seniors vs the rest of the team and the seniors won. But in the second set, it was Team A vs Team B and Team A won. Although Team B didn’t win at the end of the day they showed good sportsmanship and respect and had fun. These men will forever be remembered as PHS’s first men’s volleyball team.
