ASB Vice President

Out of  the whole student body, we got the privilege to interview our ASB Vice President, Biatriz Cabrera. During the interview we got a chance to get more educated about what goes on around the student body and the responsibilities of the Vice President. Our Vice President mentions that on a day to day basis, displaying her responsibility as ASB vice would be arriving to school on time, maintaining good grades, being respectful to everyone, and being a part of all school activities. As well as demonstrating leadership throughout the remainder of the school year. What inspired Biatriz to run for vice president was the opportunity to have and gain the leadership role, but the one who inspired her the most was her instructor, Mr. Camargo. He gave her the encouragement she needed to run for the position.

Biatriz’s peers, close friends, and staff members supported her and pushed her to keep going throughout the whole entire election process. For Biatriz, attaining the position of ASB Vice President wasn’t challenging, it’s being able to fulfill the spot in the long run. She even says that the work that comes along with being vice president is more enjoyable than” hard” As the vice president gets to collaborate and connect with new people and lead those around you, but for her the most difficult part of being a member of the ASB cabinet would be trying to balance out her schedule between academics, sports, work and outside school activity. For this year, Biatriz Cabera goals are to maintain excellent grades, connect with most of her classmates, inspire others and plan for the future. So when she leaves Parlier high school she would leave her legacy to be memorable and for many people to remember her for the great things she did for the high school. For those wishing to be in ASB, she would like to say to stay motivated, always aim for the best, and never give up, no matter how many times you may fail.
